Milano Fashion Week- VERSACE

IMG_4844

Ahh Milan, the city that’s recognized as the world’s biggest fashion capital, and the design capital. It’s not just Italy’s second most populous city, it’s where fashion lives and breathes. Milan FW brings in one of the highest revenue, and visitors each year!

With that being said, you best believe the designers stepped up their game for each and every show. Milan’s fashion week was from September 18th through the 24th. I’m focusing this post on Versace and all their incredible designs for SS19. I loved seeing so many vibrant colors and patterns mixed together. Some pieces are so retro and have huge throwback looks. Everything is coming back from the 70s, 80s, 90s, but with new twists. I’ve compiled some of the s-t-u-n-n-i-n-g designs from Versace and hope you enjoy all this glorious eye candy!

London Fashion Week

IMG_4912

London is one of the “Big Four” fashion capitals of the 21st century. I was lucky enough to spend a big chunk of my life from 2 years old and up in London with family. I absolutely loved going shopping there! The second my mom would say let’s go to Selfridges or Harrods, I’d jump out of my seat, grab my bag and we’d be off. Fashion in London is always 20 steps ahead to me. I remember seeing these amazing trends and buying so many great pieces, and then months later it would just start touching down in Los Angeles. I was a happy camper having 80% of my closet being awesome British fashion.

London Fashion Week ran from September 14th through the 18th and there were so many great designers showing off their creations. I’m focusing this post on three of the top designers that I loved from LFW: Mary Katrantzou, Erdem, and Simone Rocha. They are all so visually stunning!!

These photos for LFW are from Vogue Magazines official fashion week photographer, Corey Tenold. He takes amazing pictures during fashion week, and has great backstage shots that you don’t end up seeing as much. I love that because you get to see so much more detail and life brought to each shot. Check out his Instagram @coreytenold and see for yourself!

Which designer did you like most?! I love them all because of the floral patterns and designs. So much beauty and detail into each garment! I’m a sucker for detail and hope you guys enjoyed this post!

NYFW 2018

IMG_4751

For anyone who uses any social media platforms, I’m pretty sure you’ve seen tons of pictures and videos from this years NYFW. What is Fashion Week you say? Well, in the shortest form: Fashion Week is when the industry’s top designers present their upcoming collections in a series of runway shows and presentations. These runway shows range from a simple setup to insane locations, set design, music, lighting, you get it.

NYFW has been a huge hit with some of the best in the industry setting the curve really high for the other big 3 cities. NYFW ran from September 6th through September 14th, with some fabulous designers like Oscar de la Renta, Alice + Olivia, Self-Portrait, Michael Costello, Ralph Lauren, Jeremy Scott, to name a few.

Scroll down to see some of NYFW’s best photos and top designers, I’m in love with these new collections for AW18! So many trends have already hit stores, so join in and enjoy!

NYFW was a great kick off for fashion week, and all the designers showcasing their hottest trends. Autumn/Winter doesn’t need to be all dark and grungy, though that’s a whole lotta fun too! Designers like Alice + Olivia and Cynthia Rowley brought in the fun, floral, and sparkly side to AW18 and I love it! There’s nothing like bold animal prints with pops of color and sequins! Oscar de la Renta sure showed us what the power of prints, and detailed sequins look like this season. The touches of red and maroon are to absolutely live for! Which designers did you enjoy most? Stay tuned for more upcoming posts on fashion week.

Fall Beauty

img_2221.jpg

Saturday September 22nd is when Autumn 2018 officially starts, are you ready?! Well ready or not, it’s here! There’s Fall and Halloween decorations everywhere, pumpkin spice is in the air, and stores are already selling you on that must have sweater! Meanwhile here in LA, I’m still frolicking around in my rompers and crop tops…

One of my favorite things about Fall is not only the awesome fashion, it’s all the beauty products and creations that come to L-I-F-E! That darker, more bold makeup look is back in town. Many brands are showing off all their hot new collections, and beauty bloggers are showing off their Fall lewks. I’ll be sharing with you guys some of the great shades I’ve come across from six different brands. They’re all right on the ball with this seasons color trends, so take your pick!

YSL

YSL has amazing hues for their new Fall collection. They hit the trend on reds, blues, and earth tones perfectly. Whether it’s for your lips, face, or nails they’ve got something just for you! Check out their collection and see for yourself!

DOLCE & GABBANA

IMG_2208

D&G has some of the prettiest and most bold shades of pink and red for this season. If you didn’t know by now, these are two of the top color trends for Fall, in so many variations. Check out their gorgeous lipsticks here!

SMASHBOX

Gorgeous hues in matte, and shimmer for this new season from Smashbox! I’m dying for all the shimmer shadows! The amazing eye palette you see last, which is also the first picture on this post, is called ‘Sunlit Yellow’ and it’s only $29. Not bad at all ladies! Check out what’s new on their website.

DIOR

IMG_2207

Dior has always been one of my favorites for lipsticks and glosses. They offer so many great shades, and different textures. This look was created by @peterphilipsmakeup using two of Dior’s new Ultra Rouge Lipsticks. They’re ultra shiny, with a semi matte finish, and amazing hydration for your beautiful pouts. Dior has 25 shades currently, and each lipstick goes for $37 on their website.

CHANEL

001E1837-608D-48C1-B4C7-FCF6D2C0F7FD

Chanel has got this Fall on lock when you see their newest collections. I mean look at those deep hues. Their olive-green hits right on Pantone’s ‘Martini Olive’ AW18 color trend forecast, check my previous post for more on Pantone’s AW18 color trends. The pods are Chanels ‘Ombre Premiere Longwear Cream Eyeshadow’ and the green beauty is color ‘836- Vert Metal.’ Nordstrom carries them and they go for $36, not bad for such an elegant satin finish!

FENTY

fenty

We all know how Rihanna changed the game of the beauty industry when she brought out her own brand last year. She has some of the best lip colors and textures out there! Fenty ‘Mattemoiselle’ has some of the top shades for this season, and they are only $18 each!

I hope you guys enjoyed this read on some of the beauty industries top brands bringing their A game for this Fall! I’ve linked the brands websites, so enjoy exploring and let me know what you guys liked most in the comments! Oh, and if you’ve tried any of these products I’d love to know your personal review on them as well!
